What Happens During This Shift:

Volunteer Hosts greet incoming volunteers, help them get checked in, and guide them to their assigned teams or roles for the shift. Hosts help answer basic questions, assist team leads when volunteers are needed in different areas, and ensure the overall volunteer flow runs smoothly.

Typical Tasks:

• Greeting volunteers as they arrive

• Helping volunteers sign in or check in for their shift

• Directing volunteers to their assigned teams or work areas

• Answering basic questions about the pantry or shift activities

• Helping team leads fill open volunteer positions if needed

• Supporting a welcoming, organized, and positive volunteer environment

Important Information:

• This shift may take place both indoors and outdoors pending on volunteer flow

• Wear comfortable shoes

• Strong communication and friendliness are important

• You will work closely with pantry leadership and team leads
